i discovered this a while ago...during my first year.now i know you can run a googy or wiki and find out about absolutely anything but i'd still like to share this nifty piece of information with you anyway.there are times when ,for some totally inane reason you might urge to download a youtube viral....hey who doesn't...well here is a remarkable tool that totally eliminates the need to do so by fetching it from your temporary internet folder....the secured hidden system files.
its called videocacheview....go here http://videocacheview.en.softonic.com/
videocacheview filters out all the flv files and other flash based content from your cached away temporary internet files and shows them in a neat detailed array...from where you can afford to paste them to your permanent harddrive for offline viewing...
so all you have to do ...
is look up your flv vid
let it stream...remember streaming is downloading...but in a volatile location
run videocacheview
select and paste it to your harddrive.

awaiting dante's inferno....
ever hit on the podcast button of your itunes library ...and wonder which zoned out nub actually downloads them...well i'm that person...and this is what i recently discovered...a trailer to electronic arts' very anticipated video game set to be burned on disks in 2010 for the PS3 console -Dante's inferno....it's loosely (read reinventively) based on Dante's poem that describes hell as a concentric noose on noose ladder envisaging various deadly sins...gluttony being one...(remember another poem inspired work of animation art...beowolf)...the game seems pretty interesting and by interesting i mean ,pratik- you should buy it when it releases and then call me....
there's another game that's very popular among whoever's ever dreamt of possessing the blade of Olympus...and slaying that son of a bitch zeus...hate zeus....so if you've played god of war 3 please write in and let us know how it is....sadly enough i haven't got hold of it or just check its trailer out..then we'll sigh in unison.

the first official pulse meet...
punctuality still gets the best of our conscience is what i realised when f.e.s and s.e.s started trickling in the seminar hall by 01:00 hrs....i guess its not a stretch to say we were received by a fairly large crowd...
If you got caught up in the canteen or took the stairs ...and were unable read the poster heralding a meet... here's the basic goop
chairperson made an open appeal to the attendees to be enthusiastic about pulse -09 and start pulling out event out of their hats...
a bunch of other people spoke about....anticipated enthusiastic participation...
hierarchy establishment...s.e.s getting to bully f.e.s and t.e.s the s.e.s.....basic college food chain dynamics
publicising the event...and other important things that induce narcolepsy.
so if you missed it ....you were deeply missed...your presence is as important as a kitchen towel after a coffee spill....

iphone vs nokia's excuse for a touchphone n97
well if you're looking for an objective comparison...you're not gonna get one here.
this is the battle of the smart phones.
round one....lets talk interface
iPhone interface -of all the phones that have been through my hands is the most comprehensible one...there has never been a more user friendly phone...(if you've managed to unlock/jailbreak it)..sure that's a minor glitch ...but once you get past the upgrade,jailbreak,unlock routine you got it going.the only phone with its own development team makes sure you stay posted for what's new and noteworthy.
the nokia interface is rigid...this might sound preposterous considering nokia is up against apple the most rigid of all companies abiding all its product purchasers with contracts...but i think they put good money in developing breaches for their own vanguarded fences...be it third party repository applications or plugins to install cracked apps...but yes nokia is rigid you need to go through several menus to get to where you need to be...sure it offers more with its 32 gb memory...2x fold my iphone's memory...but it takes about 45 sec to enable its wifi- that's when you've aquainted yourself well enough with the phone and it takes about 10 for a newbie on the iphone...carried away as that might sound ...its true.
round 2. camera... and bluetooth..
okay for some curiously inexplicable reason apple has deliberately crippled its camera and bluetooth...surely the makers of multi touch capability aren't naive enough to not know what zoom in and a bluetooth is...come on.. i paid 35 big ones for this thing....gimme a decent camera to take pictures with and bluetooth capabilities to forward them to my friends.

there is an application for everything.... i mean everything...you want to use your iphone as a mouse...you can do it...you want to tip a cow.....you can do it.check your mail,download yourself a podcast or play tap tap revenge to death cab for a cutie....read comics,browse with safari or use your phone as a light sabre...as i said an application for everything.nokia might not have the extensiveness of the app store ...but it has what should have happened to us a long time ago....an indian online music store ....shamefully very nascent.
